Two men arrested in Spring Garden theft, credit-card fraud

Spring Garden Township Police have arrested two York-area men for allegedly stealing a credit card and using it to go on a shopping spree.

Michael S. Eisenhart, 34, and Ronald Weaver, 22, remain in county prison, charged with access device fraud, theft from a vehicle, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. Eisenhart is being held on $10,000 bail, Weaver on $5,000 bail, according to prison records.

Township police said the men went into a parked car in the 600 block of Hill Street on June 12 and stole a credit card.

They then used to buy items at Kmart on Haines Road, Walmart on East Market Street and the Turkey Hill Minit Market on Mount Rose Avenue, police allege.

Charges were filed late last month.

Eisenhart also is locked up on $25,000 bail, charged by York City Police with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, records state.
