Jan. 21: DGS Hosting Small Business Forum on Cybercrime

The Department of General Services is hosting a Jan. 21 forum between small businesses and state agencies about the impacts of cybercrime.

Discussion topics include the anticipated attacks on small business, and through them, on government agencies and prime contractors; cyberattack trends; government initiatives that assist small business; safety protocols for online transactions; and solutions for small business from the private sector.

Local and federal law enforcement agents will present information. Tanya Little, business development program manager at DGS, will moderate.

The forum will be Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 p.m. at the DGS auditorium at 707 3rd Street in Sacramento.
